I have been looking at getting my own webpage to help promote my Consulting business overseas and in the US. Was looking at Godaddy for a start. Any thoughts on this?

I had a few but I moved most of them off GoDaddy about a month ago when everybody else did because of their support of the internet censorship bill (SOPA & PIPA). The last one will leave GoDaddy when I figure out the logistics.

GoDaddy showed their true colors with their endorsing of SOPA and have lost tons of business since.
Find another host, there's plenty of others who deserve your business.

Dont use godaddy, it is terribly slow, their support sucks and they also supported SOPA. I switched over to hostgator and have been very happy
