Anyone used a 243wssm? What do you think? 6.5wssm

My father in law loves his as well as my cousin. He has shot a few deer and she has shot like 5 Elk, a few whitetail deer, and a few mulies.

As far as ballistics what do you think? What about 6.5wssm??

How will it feed etc? I can't help but be interested in the weird crap...

My 30" 8 twist Kreiger barreled Winchester 243 WSSM shoots steel out to 1250 yards with 105 AMax's. Longest groundhog kill SO FAR is 797 yards. But the barrel is only 2 1/2 months old with just over 500 rounds thru it.
243 WSSM, 243 AI and 6mm Rem AI are all great for everything from varmints to steel to thin skinned big game.

If you develop a 6.5 WSSM please post pictures and results. I am very interested in this cartridge and have been so for some time. Trying to find a bolt action rifle that is NOT a Browning A bolt or an AR-15 but feeds reliablely is going to be a challenge.

I've had mine for a couple of weeks now. Its an Oly Arms .243wssm. I've ran everything from 58grVmax to 100btsp in it and its a hammer. It has a 20" 1-8twist .900 bull barrel. But I'm wishing I would have saved the money I paid for this and bought a BigHorn Arms Action as I am in Machine school and want to put a rifle together soon.... so this will be for sale in the near future. Nothing to do with the round..I like it alot.

I believe if when these wssm rounds came out that they should have been marketed for the AR platform from the get-go...it just works really well.
