I've been kicking around the idea of a short barreled 700 (16.5" 308 sps tac.) and this chasis seems perfect for that use. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the Modular Driven Technology LSS Chasis? Pricing it out, it's cheaper than a B&C stock with Seekins BM.
Anyone used the MDT LSS Chasis?

there will be one at my door tomorrow and i will shoot it this weekend...dropping a 20" aac-sd which was consistently shooting 3/4" groups in my old b&c a5 stock...ill be back to let you know how it performs!
I have one under a 20" sps 223. Running an ergo f93 stock on it and spr grip. I have yet to get it out to the range with weather and this being a busy time in my business.
I added the front rail on it, along with a rail mount bipod adapter because the swivel wasn't long enough to attached into the rail. Seems comfortable enough, just wish they would develop a place to put your hand on the forearm, some sort of skid plate similar to krg's for the w3. I think a 16.5" barrel would be right on this chassis, when I rebarrel it will be between 16-18" depending on caliber.

after dropping my AAC-SD in the LSS...love it but did find something strange. Shot 2 3/4" 5 shot groups w/ GMM 175 SMKs which is pretty standard for that load, then i went to the rest of my 178 amax/ Varget handloads (had 20 left from previous batch)...these loads have always shot 1 big ragged hole @ 100 yds but after changing the chassis i shot 2 5 rnd groups, and a buddy shot 2 5 rnd groups and the best group was 1.5" and the avg was about 2"...thought something came loose on the rifle but just to check i loaded in 5 more 175 SMKs and shot 5 rnds touching each other...not sure how changing from my old B&C to the LSS could have that much impact on my load development but looks like i need to work something new up
