I'm gathering all the parts to build a 28 nosler, I already have a Winchester CRF action, sunny hill bottom medal, jewel trigger and not decided on what length barrel. It will be a proof research barel and I am planning to use a suppressor on it. It will be a back country hunting rig. Just curious how much I would be giving up with a 24" instead of a 26". I will be shooting factory ammo as I do not reload. Any info or experience will be greatly appreciated.

0-50fps from the box, maybe. lots of factory ammo is tested with 24" barrels too
reloading depot probably has a few posts with barrel length.
for a hunting gun with a can, 24" is more than fine. the 28Nosler gas some ass behind it
