7.62? My LGS has 24 lbs of this stuff and if I can get the velocity for my 5.56 (AA2520) load then I will buy some. I am using 75/77 pills and I get 2805 FPS from 18 inch AR. I would also use this for my 175/178 Loads in 7.62 but I don't need the serious speed as I am also using a gasser. Since this is a fairly new powder I don't have any data on it. Can any users help me out with what they are using? Also how does this meter?

I have read that the 308 Winchester Superformance ammo should not be used in gas guns and Les Baer has said not to use that ammo in his 308 gas gun. I don't know if the same applies to the 5.56/ 223 Rem. in gas guns.
From what I have been told, the powder is on the slower end and causes excessive port pressures in gas guns.

Okay, thanks. I just bught all the AA2520 they had one the shelf. I guess I will stick with what as been working for me. I really wanted to use ONE powder for my 5.56 and 7.62N loads.Damn....
