Anyone using red dot for Subsonic 308 loads?

I could not find trail boss, but I did get some red dot and I was told it was a decent choice for subsonic loads in 308. I have 200Gr Lapua Subsonic projectiles, lapua brass, magnum and non magnum CCI primers (some say use mag primers some say not to). I have a 20in Shilen BBL on a Rem700 action in a AICS chassis, if anyone knows a good starting point for this load using RED DOT, please let me know.

start with 8.0g red dot and work up to the velocity or accuracy you want. Mag primers are not necessary.
edit: I should have said to work up or down from the 8.0. and for comparison 9.0g Red Dot w/ 150g bullet in 308 will get you about 1000fps
Shooting Red Dot reminds me of quail hunting, aahhh-the smell of shotgun powder!
