Anyone using Tactical Tailor Padded Modular belt

Re: Anyone using Tactical Tailor Padded Modular belt

You talking about this one?

I have one, and while I do like most of their stuff this belt sucks. It's waaaaaaay too soft to bear any real weight, and if you try putting things like mag pouches or a pistol holster on it I find that it just wants to flop around. This is also a bummer because in addition to being uncomfortable it also results in your mags and pistol hanging off the belt and flopping around. If you want to try mine you can and then decide for yourself.

I have been using the VTAC Brokos Belt with a Cobra Buckled inner belt. I like it because you can thread in the inner belt inside or outside the Molle webbing. The inner foam padding is also removable.

</div></div> This is actually what I'm using now, but I've got the one without the additional padding. It's definitely a huge improvement over the Tactical Tailor belt.

Check out the Infidel War belt by US grunt Gear. I'm still waiting on mine but from the research i've done it seems to be a winner. That Vtac belt posted above looks nice too.

Agree. That looks like a POS

Re: Anyone using Tactical Tailor Padded Modular belt

I used the TT Modular Belt for a few years to carry my Safariland holster, pistol mag pouches, dump pouch, and occasionally a rifle magazine pouch. I never had any issues with it, I didn't experience any flopping around or it being overly uncomfortable. I did have its drawbacks though such as lacking a good way to manage the excess straps once you had the belt adjusted but this is where 100 mph tape came in. It also couldn't readily accept a holster like a Safariland without some modification. Other than that the build quality was pretty good for the price and I felt it was a good entry level Modular belt.

That all being said if I was going to use a belt for competitions where I'm carrying a lot of gear I'd probably use my SO Tech Modular Belt. It's heavily padded, has a lot of PALS rows and I like how it extends up in the lumbar region to provide extra support.
