man i was totally amazed by scheel's when their new store went up in reno, gave cabelas a run for their money and then some! but check for the pig tripod in this forum section, seems to get great feedback and i just ordered one (along with the pig saddle) primarily for hunting. and less than the one above you're looking at.

Thanks. Looking at the vortex pro instead . Anyone use it?
I haven't so honestly, it is a guess. If they are the ones I have held and spotted thru, they are small and light suitable for a spotter in light wind, but not a rifle. I think the are rated around 6-10 lbs. Bare in mind that it issn't the rifles raw weight or even the addition of the shooter's load, but the lever arm the rifle creates that is the issue.

So I think you'd be better off spending your gift cards on some of the other cool stuff (if you want to shoot off a tripod). You might find something more suitable on ebay or here in the market place.

I had a bunch more written but decided it was to much :)
