Rifle Scopes Anyone with a Cabellas convenat 7

I am looking for 2 scopes for my 22lr I have a 10-22 and a tikka t1x. These scopes meet all the specs I am looking at. THey are in the midrange of the budget. SO i know glass will suffer. Just wondering how bad.

34mm tube
side focus
zero stop
56mm objective

I don't have one of the 7's yet, mainly because my local Cabela's doesn't have any in stock, but I do have one of the originals on my 22 and it works great. Glass is surprisingly nice for the price, and I like the tac 32 reticle.

My buddy bought a Covenant 5 and I was initially pretty impressed with features for less than 250 on sale.

In use though, while the glass/contrast is okay, his scope has two issues: VERY picky parallax and difficult to keep entire field of view in focus. I'd normally cut some slack for a low end scope but I just couldn't force myself to keep looking through that scope and fiddle with parallax to get clear images.

The Convenant 7 may be better but I haven't seen one in the wild.
