I was wondering if anyone with an AAC-SD had chrono'd FGMM 175 gr? I've hear to -20 fps per inch shorter than 24", but I was just wondering if anyone had any hard numbers as I don't have a chronograph. Thanks.

Since no one has responded to your question I will offer my reference from 6-7 years ago and I'm going by memory so don't hold me to the exact fps. I'm going to use two different rifles. One a 20" ltr and a 24" 40x. the 20" would give between 2587 and 2615. the 24" would give around 2660. I'm getting a little "long in the tooth" but I believe these figures to be very close. Hope it helps. I don't use those cartridges anymore as I'm a Berger shooter as of late, when I can get 'em!

I haven't shot FGMM 175 through it...but my AAC-SD runs my load at 2563FPS avg. 175SMK, 44.7gr Varget
I would assume that 175 FGMM will be in the 2550's out of a 20" tube.

I chrono'ed the FGMM 175's at 2579FPS at 451 Altitude, 10%RH, and 46º. This was out of my AAC-SD.

Mine actually ran between 2615-2625. Bit warm that day though. These were the 7.62x51mm FGMM version with the annealed cases.

Thanks for numbers guys. I will plug them in and fine tune for my rifle from there. Much Appreciated.

Only rounds I shot through a chrono are:

FGMM 175 smk's avg velocity was 2538fps
Hornady Match 168g A-Max avg velocity was 2587fps
M118LR avg velocity was 2530 fps

Conditions were:

70 deg
100% humidity
Barometric pressure was about 30.00

Hope that helps.
