I have a few scopes that do not have an AO. But I do not have any varmint scopes without an AO. I can get a really good deal on a Leupold 4.5X14 without an AO(with the CDS) dial. I will be using it for mostly short range ground hog hunting. Out to 400 yards but most shots will be 300 and in. What do you guys think about a varmint scope without an AO?? Tom.
