I'm curious if there's any downside to the Eliseo system. I am considering building one next year as Tactical rifle that could pull double duty as an NRA match gun.

I see a lot more of them at NRA matches than tactical matches. Is there any reason they are not more popular?

We glued her action in and haven't found a down side yet. I wold recommend to avoid the Jewell trigger, but that's just Me. So far this is one of the most accurate rigs we own.
