App to measure group size

I thought I heard there is an app that measures your group size by taking a picture? I searched but didn't find anything?

On iPhone, there is an app called SubMOA which allows you to do measurements off a photo.

I have submoa and ballistic x. Ballistic X is far and away the better app for this. Super easy to work with.

Another vote for BallisticX. I use the photos with overlays in my databook and no longer keep the paper targets. Only problem I have with BallisticX is that it sucks the life out of my 4 year old phone battery.

I’ve been trying to use SubMOA the last couple of days. I was successful with the first 2 targets but now the curser doesn’t line up and sometimes I can’t find the curser at all. I down loaded the free Ballistic X app but I don’t see a way to measure group sizes. Do I need the $7.50 Ballistic X app to do that? I’m using an iPad. Thanks

With Ballistic X after you add all your impacts it shows you your group size after you hit "next" that is the first data point on the next screen. I think I have the paid version though so I don't know what the free version does. Man just get the $7.50 version and find out. In this sport is $7.50 really going to break you if so you in the wrong hobby. Maybe leaf collecting will fit your budget a little better.

while not an app it measure your group and its only 1.00 at hardware store will last longer than your phone and its more handy .
it even has attachments to attach to a pocket
