App to measure group size

Another vote for BallisticX. I use the photos with overlays in my databook and no longer keep the paper targets. Only problem I have with BallisticX is that it sucks the life out of my 4 year old phone battery.

Just paid for Ballistic X. Watched a quick YouTube video on it, worth the price of a starbucks coffee. Anything to invest in grossly inflating my weak ego:

I’ve been trying to use SubMOA the last couple of days. I was successful with the first 2 targets but now the curser doesn’t line up and sometimes I can’t find the curser at all. I down loaded the free Ballistic X app but I don’t see a way to measure group sizes. Do I need the $7.50 Ballistic X app to do that? I’m using an iPad. Thanks

With Ballistic X after you add all your impacts it shows you your group size after you hit "next" that is the first data point on the next screen. I think I have the paid version though so I don't know what the free version does. Man just get the $7.50 version and find out. In this sport is $7.50 really going to break you if so you in the wrong hobby. Maybe leaf collecting will fit your budget a little better.

while not an app it measure your group and its only 1.00 at hardware store will last longer than your phone and its more handy .
it even has attachments to attach to a pocket

Ballistic-X. The creator of the app is super involved and is constantly looking to improve the app (not like there's anything wrong with it) and creating new apps for the shooting community. It is super simple to use and gets you a measured target in seconds.
