First off Id like to thank sniper24INF for his awesome support here at the Hide. All of Kestrel's setup documents make configuring a breeze. Unfortunately Windows sucks ass. I used to do IT support way back in the day troubleshooting Windows machines, and let me tell ya... Bill Gates is job security! His 2 year OS lifespan and buggy software keep a lot of people fed in today's economy. With that said, I really hope Kestrel is working on porting their loader software to Mac, because I have nothing but trouble with it in Windows. I am able to connect to my Kestrel via Bluetooth maybe 10% of the time. It usually says its connected, but when I try to write the profiles, it is unable. It takes releasing by bluetooth pair a couple times before I can get it to work correctly. I did try one time to load profiles using VMware, and it did connect and said it loaded the profiles to the Kestrel, but when I went into the Kestrel, I did not see the profiles.
Is anyone else having as much trouble as me? Maybe it's because I'm running Windows on a MacBook Pro, but as far as any other software is concerned... Nothing runs Windows better than a Mac.
