Rifle Scopes AR 1 inch scope mount

Re: AR 1 inch scope mount

I like (and use) the Freedom Reaper from DNZ:

DNZ also makes a railed ring top:

There's also a railed ring that surrounds the main tube, useful for mini red dot sights, lights or lasers:

Re: AR 1 inch scope mount

Get 30mm rings and 30mm -> 1" reducers, that way if you get a new scope (30mm) later on, you wont have to buy new mounts. Scope ring reducers are only $15.00 at GG&G, and just a little bit nmore at LaRue. I have a set on my AR mounted Leupold Vari-X 3 3.5-10, and there has been zero problems.

Rick

Re: AR 1 inch scope mount

I use a Nikon M223 mount on my heavy barrel Armalite and it works great, and the built in 20 moa cant is nice as well.

I had to exchange the first one I got because some of the threads were mangled out of the package, but the next one I got has been perfect. No zero shift or anything of that nature. I can't speak to ring marks since I have yet to remove the scope from it.

One thing to consider is it is not a QD mount. It does take a little bit of time to move between rifles. If this is a concern you might want to look elsewhere.

Re: AR 1 inch scope mount

I have a LaRue LT 104 and a Burris PEPR. The PEPR is great for the money but it is nowhere near the quality of the LaRue. PEPR mounts need to be lapped to keep from putting ring scratches on your scope. LaRue's need no lapping like any good quality rings.
