AR 10 308 build question

They have told me the only lower they can "guarantee will work is by Aero Precision. I'd rather not get the Aero lower as I'm trying to keep this build simple and on the inexpensive side. I'd prefer lower to be populated. Tennessee Arms has one that fits the bill. https://www.tnarmsco.com/populated-ar308-lower/

Tennessee Arms let me know their lower is DPMS Gen 1. Neither Moriarti or Tennesse can tell me if this will fit, or be a nightmare. Anyone have any clue? Thanks

Should fit. Not 100%, but pretty good chance.
I HIGHLY suggest you spend the extra $50 or so (maybe 5-10% increase in total build cost) to get an Aero M5 lower and an Aero M5 lower parts kit.

It would end up being around $200-$210 for the Aero M5 lower with M5 lower parts kit, vs $150 for that polymer one.

Plastic/nylon lower on an AR10? No bueno. No way.

As mentioned above, you’ll be way better off getting an Aero M5 kit setup.

No way possible would I do any polymer lower on any AR and I love my polymer pistols.

I own two AR10 clones. You don't want to cut any corners with them. You will end up saying: "I wish I had spent the $50 - $100 more and went with ..."

Always match your upper and lower when it comes to the large frame stuff.

I would strongly suggest you spend the money now... and buy the Aero lower.
A 308/6.5 CM is hard on lowers ( heck even YOU will be hard on a plastic lower ) ... a plastic lower is not something I would want.
