AR 10 308 Load Using Varget + 178 AMax 175 SMK

Just finsihed my MA-TEN build with a Rock 5-R 1:11.25 18.5" barrel and looking for load suggestions for the Amax and SMK's using Varget. Any help is appreciated as I am hoping to get a consitant 0.5 to 0.75 MOA load. I was able to get a half dozen or so sub MOA groups but not consistant yet.

My Tikka T3 Tactical 308 has spoiled me with sub 1/2 MOA for several years and strong tactical performance with the Amax

44.6 Gr Varget with either 175 SMK or 178 AMAX is a pretty universal load in everything I have ever shot. I would start at 43.8 and work up to 45. Thats a pretty easy combo to get to shoot good.

I am running these in my lmt mws

lc lr brass
178 amax at 2.81"
43.6gr varget
win wlr primer

or using a 175smk it is 2.8" and 43.5gr powder.

The 43.6 for the 178gr A-Max is the exact load that worked best in my Tikka T3 Tactical. I will defiently put these loads in the test lineup.

Got 3 Gun matches the next 2 weekends so load development and range confirmation is a couple weeks out.
