So I was at the local watering hole having a few brews with a couple buddies when a friend of someone we barely know joins the table. He is a flat bill hat wearing sort of d-bag. Someone mentions that I am a "gun guy" to this gent and he proceeds to excitedly tell me about his arsenal. He has a .308 semiautomatic pistol that he swears is not a .380 but describes it as a small gun that fits in his pocket. He then begins to describe his very special/secret ar14. I ask him if he means an ar15 and he voraciously denies that its an ar15. He tells me that its a special model made by the "snipers" at colt!? He claims it "takes" .225 ammo and it is very rare(but he has got some at Wal-Mart in the past). He says the gun is a secret gun that he's not supposed to talk about but proceeds to tell me that it shoots over a mile no problem and puts his fingers in a ring the size of a dime showing me the size of target he can hit at that range. He goes on to talk about how "they" (was colt later changes to Winchester) gave it to his uncle that is a navy seal in the army. ?? So his uncle tested it in Iraq and decided that he didn't like it so he gave it to him. The whole time I am keeping a straight face an politely asking questions like "are you sure you don't mean .223?". The fire eventually goes out in his eyes and he changes the story to "some bitches" he has been nailing. But he tells me before he leaves that he wants me to go with him to his uncles house sometime and shoot this ultra secret rifle but I have to no tell anyone about anything I see. Now... ignorance to the specifics of rifle specs and clamberings does not make someone a dumbass but arguing about ot and making up things from a fantasy land does. I thought some of his specs and explanations were particularly funny and felt the need to share. Lol. Hope you get a chuckle out of it. I did!

AWESOME!!! When are you going to go out to his uncles farm and shoot the AR14?!? Maybe he'll hook you up with some friends of them "bitches he's been nailing". Sure wish I had a buddy like that! Pretty awesome! Let me know if you guys ever plan a trip out to Colorado on his G650.

P.S. That 308 pocket rocket sure sounds like a man stopper! What an awesome dude!

P.S.S. Tell him to thank his Army SEAL uncle for his service.

I've known a few guys like that. "Never let the facts get in the way of a good story". A GOOD story. Please do some research before you lie to me again, okay? Buh-bye ;)
