ar-15 complete uppers

wanting to know where i can get a 18-20 inch upper, that will not cost me an arm and leg. just using for plinking at longer range 400-600 yards. my 14.5 inch barrel with welded flash hider is loosing to much speed and bullets are droping like a rock.

Not sure what "an arm and a leg" is in your book, or specifically what you are looking for other than cheap, but each of the following locations have tons of different uppers available...one should meet your needs:

Bravo Company (LMT, BCM, Stag, DD, Noveske, etc.)

ADCO Firearms (RRA and others)

Legal Transfers (RRA, Stag, etc.)

Mooney's Firearms (RRA, Stag, VLTOR)

RB Precision (RRA, DPMS, etc.)

Also, there is always the Equipment Exchange on AR15.COM.

How much extra F.P.S. are you expecting to gain?

I'd expect about 125 going from 14.5 to 20".
