Ar-15 Confusion!.....Need help

Ok, so I am building an ar-15 and confused, I am going with a WOA upper reciever and it says it has m-4 feed ramps ok, doesn't the barrel too have ramps? I am so confused.....ANY IDEAS OR ADVISE would be of great help.

will any upper work with any barrel? what should I look for when purchasing so I dont get the wrong part?

If the barrel has M4 feed ramps the receiver you use should have them also. If the barrel doesn't, pick a receiver that doesn't.

What you don't want is a feed ramp receiver and no (M4) feed ramp barrel.

So if I get a reciever w/ m4 ramps I need to get a barell that says w m4 ramps?

Really you should be getting a barrel first. It is more important in the big picture.

But from the picture above, you can see that the only issue you'll have is the combo with a receiver with the ramps and a barrel extension without.

I have a couple in mind Rainer arms Ultra match 18in, Norveske, or WOA w/ headspaced bolt, but due to limited availibility i got to keep options open, just tring to get a game plan and see
