I sure hope I am in the right place to post this thread. I am thinking very strongly on a 9 mm conversion for a AR pistol. I have been looking around for quite a while and I believe the CMMG Banshee 100 should fit the bill, I sure would like some input from those who know better that myself, what are your thoughts on the CMMG, are there any issues with this produce? Thanks in advance for the help.

Buddy of mine has a palmetto state armory dedicated 9mm. Uses glock mags and he shoots pistol caliber carbine class in steel matches with it once a month for years now and it totally rocks. Wasn’t that much either.

I now have a PSA AR pistol in 223 10 1/2 " barrel that I had planned to use for my lower on my conversion, always had good luck with PSA. Thanks

I have a 8.5” CMMG Banshee 100 upper I run on a SBR lower using their 9 mm mag conversions. Runs like a sewing machine.

The 8.5" 100 is the one that I am thinking on. How many rds and how long have you had the 100 and do you run it suppressed? CMMG is the only place that I have found to have it in stock now, I would like to find it some where else for a better price hopefully.

I will admit that the Sig MPX is smoother and has the best magazines currently out for subguns. But the gun and the mags are expensive. That being said. I have both, the MPX and CMMG. The radial delay bolt of the CMMG really works well. It shoots sooooo much better than the traditional straight blow back AR 9 uppers. running Glock mags works well and running their Pmag 9mm conversion mags work great as well. Shooting suppressed with some 9mm 147gr is so much fun and gives you that 300 blackout subsonic suppressed giggle factor.

Only about 100 rounds of steel cased Tulammo w/o a surpressor. Need to get out more.

I got the CMMG Guard 9mm conversion with Magpul mag conversion. Jams alot.

Also got the CZ Skorpion and Sig MPX. They are both 100% relaible.

And the MPX is an HK MP-5 killer. Its butta smooth. If you can find / afford one, get it. Its worlds better than the AR9 platform. In my experience anyway. If you can only get one, why not get the best ?
