Can I re install a delta ring on my ar 15 from the chamber end of my barrel after I take the barrel off?

Not from the chamber end, unless you took off the barrel extension somehow. You need to remove the gas block and go from the muzzle end.

Yes you can,
Once the barrel is removed from the upper. You will need a pair of snap ring pliers to remove the snap ring and all the delta ring components can be removed or replaced without removing the barrel nut from the barrel assy. Thus leaving you with a barrel nut to attach your rail system.

My bad, I forgot about the snap-ring and components, I have not attempted to put one on over a Barrel extension, just have taken off the gas block.

I install about 10 rails this way per month. Saves quite a bit of time. Works with most 2 piece free float rail systems.
