instead of followers, just get some new pmags, $10-15 each depending on size, windows, etc. i've been using the same batch for years of 2 & 3 gun matches with zero issues.

I have PMAGS. I also wanted some reliable metal mags "just because...", so I installed the MAGPUL follower into my 20rd metal mags, can only load them up to 18rds, but that's a known thing. The MAGPUL follower in my 30rd metal mags does not adversely impact capacity though, still 30rds.
