I currently have a Nikon Buckmaster 4.5-14x40sf on a Burris AR PEPR mount. I really like the scope, but it's tough to get the proper eye relief (in terms of angle). If I move left, right, up or down, the full view starts to go away. Any recommendations on a scope (similar price range $300) that is a little more forgiving in that respect.

Re: AR-15 Scope Recommendation

The best way to combat shadowing issues is by going to a larger exit pupil. The larger the objective bell and the smaller the magnification, the larger the exit pupil. For example, Trijicon's 2.5-10x56mm scope is really, really hard to beat.

If you like your current power range, simply shop for a 50mm or 56mm objective bell. You'll notice a big difference over your current 40mm scope.
