Figured I'd post a pic of my target today from Angeles. The AR is a lefty Stag w/Star rail system 16" barrel. Jewell trigger, PRS stock, Harris bipod, ACOG 4x32 Green Chevron rec. I know, I know.....the PRS is a lil much for a ACOG but it just feels "right" to me.

I was shooting Lake City brass, 450 primers, Nosler 55Gr ballistic tips with 24.7grs of BLC(2)

If anyone can see anything I could be doin or not doing, to get this thing a lil tighter in the center Id greatly appreciate any insight based on "reading" the target. Thx!

Re: AR-15 Target @100yds

It seems,in my experience, shots that are high are usually caused by anticipation of the recoil. Try dry firing a few times and see how you react. Even better, next time you go have a buddy load a dummy round among your live round (this way you don't know exactly when your going to dry fire). If you don't have a dummy round, still have a buddy load a mag and just not tell you how many are in it. shoot like you would normally, and see how you react to the expected recoil. Again, high groupings for me were usually caused by me anticipating the recoil. YMMV. Good luck either way.
