I looked around the web and this site and have found a few opinions but nobody has said i tried it and it worked or did not. I want to get a new trigger for my DPMS LR-260 and was wondering if i can use and ar-15 trigger. Thanks for any help.

I believe so.
I use a Hi-Speed Match in my AR-10 just fine. Geissele said no problem when I asked the same question.
Geissele is good to go because they use full strength springs. Some other manufacturers do Not. Stick with Geissele.

AR triggers are typically interchangeable. As long as you're not swapping the trigger in a Colt AR-15, you'll be just fine. The Colt has a large pin whereas pretty much everything else is a small pin.
As has been stated, stick with Geissele. They're second to none.
