AR 22 mags

I have been using the Black Dog Gen II mags with my AR .22 upper. Just wondering how the newer gen mags are working or the new CMMG mags? Anyone with experience?
Black Dog mags are still GTG. There was one generation where the feed lips were molded integrally with the two halves. Those had a tendency to split. I had a pair of them and BDM replaced them for me free of charge.

KRISS mags work very well. Even better with a stiffer set of springs from BDM. THey have last round bolt hold-open capability too.
S&W M&P 15-22 mags are still my favorite though. I don't mind using the little spacer. And the LRBHO has been reliable.
I've lost all faith in CMMG mags....but to be fair I have not tried the newest generation of CMMG.

I’m using the BD “sonic weld” 15 rnd mags in monthly long range barricade events, no issues. I have older screw assembled BD and CMMG grey mags that also usually feed with no issues (had my first with a new grey CMMG that was fully loaded couple of weeks ago, likely just dirty as the first couple of rounds didn’t want to fully feed).
The older black BD mags are developing cracks, but so far I’ve been able to repair them.

Are you using the spacer that sticks on the mag or the one that clips onto the front of the mag well?
I've been using the clip on the magwell. I was reluctant to fasten anything to the magazines since I still used the better mag adapter. I have since transitioned to the Catch22 device on all my dedicated 22LR lowers so I will also be using the stick-on spacers.
