Ar.308 ballistic advantage problems

Hi I recently picked up a 18 inch ballistic advantage Hanson barrel and I have had several issues with it feeding. After I installed the barrel with the gas block it came with, I would encounter two scenarios. The first being the gun would eject the round and lock the bolt back completely, not chambering a new round. The second problem I have is that the gun would eject the casing and rack a new round but it would jam. Upon examination, the jammed round would be slanted with the bullet pointed up toward the chamber ramp of the barrel and the bolt smashed into the side of the bullet, making a indent. I believe my gun is over gassed and is causing these problems. The casings eject to my 4 o'clock position. Some of the guys I asked said it might be a magazine issue because it won't feed right. But I use a 10 round P mag.

If my explanations are confusing, please reply so I can reiterate.

Thanks

Having the bolt lock back like that combined with strange feeding makes me think it might be an issue with either the lower or the bcg.

Just to make sure, do the feed ramp design of your upper receiver match your barrel?
Are all your parts of the same 308 AR pattern?

Well I have had a gunsmith assemble my gun together after I had bought the barrel so everything should be connecting fine with no problems. And yes every part I have on my Dpms is of Dpms ar 308 pattern.
