AR .308

I'm pretty dead-set on getting some form of an AR in .308. However, budget is an issue. I want to either buy a rifle for around $1,000 and accessorize it myself, or purchase one for about $1,500 with accessories already included. Obviously I want the most accurate rifle I can buy for that money.

What do you guys think? Also what would you suggest for scopes, bipods, or other accessories?

If $1500 is your max budget, you'd probably be in the right range for a DPMS LR-308 or an Armalite AR-10.

Check the EE at ARFCOM, you will get a very good one for $1500
