Gunsmithing AR Barrel Diameter at Gas Ports

If a standard gas block is .936" ID and the barrel I am looking to use has an OD of .935" at the ports am I asking for trouble? Is 1/1000th of an inch an issue? Should I get the barrel maker to cut the port area to a different OD?

Gas block is PRI and barrel is LW #6200.

I'm a newb a builds so any advice is greatly appreciated.

That's normal. It will also be normal for the system to show some "sneezing" like in this thread:

Thanks bohem. With the pressures involed in these rifles I wanted to make sure I wasn't setting myself up for a filet-o-fist.

I did notice that the Kreiger Varmatch are advertised as .937" at the "gas system" and that is what really got me thinking.

standard diameter at the gas port is actually .750 ..... .935 is heavy profile.
