Has anyone ever had an AR15 bolt group finished? I was thinking about sending it to robar to get the np3 finish on it. I had a pistol finished with np3 and it was so easy to clean. Any suggestions?

Duracoated the carrier. I haven't put any coatings on the actual bolt and locking lugs. Didn't want any clearance issues.
Don't know how np3 would do.

POF-USA Np3's their bolt carriers, very slick inside their nickel plating inside their uppers.

How many rounds do you have on the coated carrier and hows that working out for you?
NP3 would be my choice.

500 or so. Finish is holding up fine. The carrier really doesn't make much contact inside the upper.
