Also, does anyone know of a good guide to know what sights will co-witness with what optics (EOTech, Aimpoint, Trijicon)?

This is why research is so great, the DOA is not built for the HK front so it wouldn't work as well. You are on the right track with Troy.

DPMS mangonel BUIS are really nice. They springup and lock tight...cool looking too. They lay very low on the upper but kinda pricey
