I have 2 of them-somewhere-both have splits on the rear of the body below the feed lips. They still fed OK last time I tried them, but I do not use them at all anymore. I would say the Orlite mags are OK long as they don't have physical flaws like mine. I'm sure they aren't on the same level as current GI or Pmags.

They have worked well for me but, mine have the cracks as well. I have been told they mostly crack from being stored loaded. I cant speak to that myself. I bought mine used for 3 bucks ea they already had the cracks. However that was 7-8 years ago and they are still working. Numrich has some in stock for $10 or so
