AR question

I come in search of wisdom from the rifle gurus: can I put a Stoner BCG in a DPMS upper? I got the package AR upper from DPMS and nothing is chromed; I would like to have at least a chrome BCG to help with fouling reliability.

I believe that most AR-15 BCG's are universal for the most part.

It should work. With that said, I just had one that didn't. It was not specifically the brands your dealing with. I was the Bolt head itself that had an apparent lug issue and it would not close on the chamber and was making contact with the chamber lugs. In my case I bought from an individual who got the BCG from a RRA LE rep. I made him aware of the issue and he exchanged it. The exchanged one works great.

AR15's are GTG if mil-spec---AR10's have compatibility issues
between different brands
