AR riser

Here is one I put on my Colt LE 6920 M4. With the low rings it measures 1.5" from top of rail to middle of 1" scope tube. It allows me to have a perfect cheek weld. I don't know who made them, but the riser cost $12 and the rings cost $12.

Friends don't let friends buy $12 rings and risers. Your sling is on backwards as well.

I would advise anyone tempted to purchase gun show grade parts to hold onto the money, go home, set it aside for a quality mount and rings, and leave the cheap rings and risers alone.

Thanks for your input. As for my sling I use the rifle for hunting and I don't need the muzzle pointing at my foot. I sling it over my shoulder while I walk to my deer stand.

As for the riser and the rings they work just fine for the time until I could find better ones that give me the cheek weld I like. The ones I have now are Nikon P-SERIES that measure 1.375" to the center of the scope tube. I probably will get a Vortex mount that measures 1.59". Oh, since the P-SERIES split mounts are so thick where they clamp to the rail that I had to turn it around because the eye piece of the Bushnell AR/223 scope with 4.5-18x40mm zoom could not be turned. Since that first picture was taken I changed the upper to a WOA 18" varmint upper with 1 in 7" twist and had the barrel full length fluted. The reason I did this is because I am an accuracy nut. The first 5 shot group I shot with my hunting Sierra 65 gr. SPHP at 100 yds. to sight in the scope and also to foul the barrel before I shot a ladder test with Sierra 69 gr. Match Kings. I only have a picture of the target of the 65 grains. The 69 gr. MK group was smaller.
