AR scope mount or base and rings

I'd like to get a reliable mount or rings for an AR. I'd like to be able to get it for under $100. It doesn't have to be return to zero but that would be a cool option. I was looking at the PEPR but I've seen a lot of mixed reviews. Thanks

I have had good luck with my AD-RECON mounts. They run a little over $100 but they are worth it. You will spend the same on decent rings, so you mind as well.

If you don't need the quick release, take a look at the Leupold one piece mount. It is well built and well under your price point.

Check out the Vortex Cantilever Mounts, I picked one up off of Amazon for $89 to use for testing a scope and was pretty satisfied with it. IMO it looks better than the PEPR mount and the quality wasn't too bad either given the price. Vortex currently has 1" and 30 mm versions with either 2" or 3" of forward cantilever so there are options whether you like to shoot nose to charging handle or have a scope with longer eye relief.
