Rifle Scopes AR scopes, Bushnell AR, Leupold AR or Nikon 223 scopes

Wow i totally read the topic wrong :) Early morning with no coffee=bad for me so lets try again!
ive used the leupold and the nikon ones. Cant remember exactly which models. The nikon was nice but i dont care for the BDC reticule it had. I thought the glass was clear. I didnt care for the price though (friend said it was like 450?) and thought there might be better options. The leupold i liked. Mil/Mil which was great and i liked the reticule. To be fair it was the 1.5-4 version and the special reticule...name escape same. But it worked well with the ring around the crosshairs to work sort of as a red dot site ring. Again though more than i would want to pay but i liked it better than the nikon.

I have the Mk AR mod1 3-9x40 mildot. I like it more than I thought I would. It is lightweight and mil/mil. Got it with the promo with free Leupy mk2 AR mount, which also seems good so far. Mine has exactly 18.2 mils of travel, and 10.2 of up leftover at 200y zero. It can also be had with the Firedot illumination system, which I also like.
It has no parallax adjustment, the higher mag ones have adjustable objective. It is fairly clear and bright and has very small, almost invisible black ring around the image. It's direct competitor is the weaver 3-10, which is nice too, but I prefer the ultra-compact turrets on the Leupy, not to mention the warranty. To me, it is a great value for $350. I haven't looked through the bigger 6-18x40, but out of the ones you listed here, it would be my pick.

All that being said, I wouldn't necessarily recommend any of them for what you are doing.

The Bushnell and Nikon mentioned only come in BDC or duplex reticles. Hugely differnt price points among all these.
$550 for the Leupy 6-18x mildot (67 moa adjustment and light weight and mil/mil, but a little pricey)
$500 for the M-223 Nikon 4-16x bdc (40 moa adjustment)
$190 for the Bushy 4.5-18x bdc (very limited 25moa travel and doubt it would have enough resolution to be useful above 10x)

Could you live with fixed power? If so, the SS 16x would be hard to beat for budget paper-punching. For variable budget higher power glass, the Vortex PA 6.5-20x is tuff to beat for the price. For around $560 the newer HS-T 4-16 would be great too.
