I just purchased a Magpul PRS stock for my .308 ar build. I have the buffer and spring but no tube. This is probably a stupid question but can anyone point me in the right direction to the tube I need to make my PRS stock work with my lower?

Axeman is correct, just a standard A1/2 extension buffer tube will work

the PRS stock will slip on any standard buffer tube except the collapsible stocks ones of course.

Damn...just realized that I forgot about the @#$%^&* MidwayUSA $25 minimum order BS when I gave you the link about.
Unless you'll be ordering other stuff at the same time, it is probably best to order the tube from Brownells so you don't have to eat Midway's damn $3 minimum order surcharge on top of the price of the tube.

The link you gave me pulls up one for an AR15 though. Is there a difference between the 5.56/.223 and the 7.62/.308 tubes? I just want to make sure I order the correct one.

All AR milspec buffer tubes are the same diameter. The only difference between the AR15 and AR10 PRS is the length of the cheek piece - the AR10 one is shorter to accommodate the longer pull of the charging handle.
Just get a standard rifle length buffer tube.

Does this apply to buffer springs also? I have the A2 tube, wad thinking about a different spring (I have the PRS stock also).

NEGATIVE!! While the receiver extension is the same for a rifle-length, A1/A2 style extension whether used on the AR-15 or a large-frame AR (AR-10, LR-308, etc.), the buffer springs AND buffers are different and should NOT be interchanged between platforms.
AR-15 springs for AR-15...AR-10/LR-308 springs for the large frame ARs.

Not really...I have found that the Armalite AR-10 springs, at least in my experience, tend to be a bit stronger/stiffer and hold up better in the long-run than the DPMS LR-308 springs, but honestly...both will get the job done well. The DPMS springs are generally easier to source with most of the bigger retailers of AR parts/accessories having them in stock the majority of the time (i.e. - Brownells, Midway, etc.) while the Armalite springs can be a little tougher to find at times. Lots of folks will tell you that the Tubb flat wire/SpeedLock springs are great for everything from reducing recoil to improving accuracy to extended service life, but I have not personally observed a single degree of improved performance, reliability, accuracy, etc. with a spring that costs 3x-4x as much as the DPMS/Armalite springs, so I'll stick to the factory OEM stuff myself...YMMV.
