I have been shooting my first ar10 build for a wile now. It's a hodge podge of good parts, can't remember what they all are. What I do know, is my chrome lined m118LR Criterion barrel just doesn't cut it for me anymore. I can get about 1.5" groups, but I'm doing more precision rifle stuff now, and 1.5" definitely doesn't cut it anymore. It's 18" and even suppressed seems to have a decent amount of pop. I'd like to go smaller, like 7-08, 260, or 243 as I load for all of them already. I'm looking to get 20-22" and have been looking hard at christensen and proof carbon to shave weight. Has anyone had any experience with these carbon ar10 barrels?

I just purchased at carbon barrel from BSF barrels in 6.5 creedmore , going to cut 2lbs off my rifle replacing my Ballistic Advantage heavy (66oz) down to 36 oz for the BSF both 18". if /when you check them out see if they have any test barrels in your caliber, if they do you can save even more $.

I have an 18" Christensen 308 barrel. When I'm not pulling shots it's 0.5 MOA with FGMM. Great barrel I'd buy from them again.
