Looking to put a NF NX8 2.5-20x50 on my Seekins SP10. Typically what ring height are you guys using on your AR10 platforms with 50mm objectives?

I run an American Defense Recon, 30mm ring set, 20moa cant. Might be 1.2"ish rail to center,, i can't remember. 50mm objective, and with an Aero M5 rail, i can still clear the sunshade if I want to. No regrets on the mount. Popped it off for cleaning a couple times, no issues with return to zero.

If you’re going to be having clip-one for the front, then everything will naturally center around 1.4-1.5”. I have a set of Badger 1.375” (m2010) mounting a Premier 3-15x on one sr25. Lets me use a regular stock on the rear without being too high, while retaining decent alignment for clip-on stuff.

Are you looking at a 1-piece scope mount or 2-piece? Straight mount or 20 MOA? I'm using a 1-piece NightForce Ultralight 20 MOA 30mm mount on my long range LR243. It is about .800" from the pic rail to the bottom of the scope tube (forward edge). Nightforce Ultralite Unimount Picatinny-Style 20 MOA Elevated Integral (midwayusa.com) I have 2-piece NightForce Ultralight 30mm rings on my LR308. On that rifle the scope tube is about .750" above the pic rail. Nightforce 30mm Ultralite Picatinny-Style Rings Matte High (midwayusa.com)

Both are pricey but lightweight (aluminum alloy and titanium). I've shot at least a thousand rounds through both rifles without a problem from the NF scope rings and mount.

my range goes out to 1400yds. So I need enough travel in the turrets / mount to be able to dial out to that max range. 6.5CM by the way. Probably lean towards a one piece with slight cantilever to help with any eye relieve issues
