When I started to form the 17 Rem from the 223brass I was not getting the best results I was getting dimples on the case neck and some were crushing I was using a full-size 17Rem RCBS die.
I went to the local reloading store brought up A riding bushing S full body Collett die and three different sizes of nitride Collets.
After talking to him he told me that’s not gonna give you what you need I could sell it to you but you might not be happy with the results better off to keep what you got and just put a wiff of lube on the neck but don’t put anything more than that because you’re getting dimples from the case lube.

He did his advice and just a ran them right through the 17 rem rcbs Full body die, he was just a tiny tiny bit of RCBS case lube and The results speak for themselves.

Very happy with the results I did not measure to see if they’re a tiny bit short they may be... if one wanted to make a callet that squeezes down and then gets drawn so the brass flows upward, one could then for go any sort of length issues but I do not have a lathe to make such a thing.

You can see the pictures and they get better as after I had visited the gun stop.
