Sidearms & Scatterguns AR400 1/4" for pistol?

Just wanting to know if it will hold up or not to 9mm and .40 or if I should go 3/8?

IMHO I would go with the 3/8. I think the 1/4 should only be for .22's

3/8 for sure and it would be even better to go to AR500. Yes, 400 will take plenty of abuse, but 500 will last nearly forever.
