Suppressors Arapahoe County, CO supressor?

Re: Arapahoe County, CO supressor?

If you're going the Trust route, it doesn't matter which county you live in, just have to do fill out the change of address form for your Trust paperwork.

Re: Arapahoe County, CO supressor?

The Sheriff should sign off on it without any problems. I'm in El Paso county and it was painless. For those of you suggesting the Trust route don't you still have to get the LEO sign off? I was on a tight budget so just went as cheap as possible.

Re: Arapahoe County, CO supressor?

No signature required for a Trust, it completely bypasses LEO. I was told I would have to go the Trust route here in Adams County because they wouldn't sign off on it. Go figure, LEO/Military guy myself and they wouldn't sign it.

Re: Arapahoe County, CO supressor?

I met the Sheriff and he said he evaluates each on a case by case basis. Even though he gave me the impression he would sign off on mine, I went the trust route.

BTW... he did want to make sure the can was for a rifle and not for a handgun. He may have some problems with signing off on a can for a handgun.

The trust route is simple, effective, and has some benefits.
