Have any of you guys messed with shorter rounds in your Nucleus, and if so did you have any feeding issues?

I’m wanting to do a 6BR or Dasher build and wasn’t sure how the shorter rounds faired, being based on the shorter cases.

I am using one for a 6BRA. Using mdts 12 round br mag, and an unmodified magpul aics mag. Only one malfunction with mdt. Probably 5 with the magpul, as it has to be loaded forward to function correctly.

I run mine with .223, Dasher, and 6 CM. Had occasional issues with 6CM where it took extra effort to push the bolt forward for the last 25% of travel. It feeds .223 fine but sometimes does not eject properly and leaves the case in the action. It’s been flawless with Dasher.

Pardon my ignorance, what is CRF?

Control round feed, one of the things ARC is known for doing most other actions don't,

And paired with the Springfield style ejector, an absolute godsend in the winter. Plopping the casings right below me vs digging around in the snow for my brass, or breaking position to catch them as they come out.
