Arc Nucleus bolt head question.?

I am wondering if anyone on here has done or thought about opening up the nucleus 224 valkyrie bolt head to be able to shoot the Grendel type rounds? I have a spare bolt head laying around that I thought I had lost so I ordered another one and start thinking about doing it. I'm a machinist by trade so it won't be overly hard with the equipment I have access to to open up the bolt face bu 19 thou or so that would be required to make it work.

I think the extractors are different as well.

I have a gen one action and don't believe the gen 2 bolt heads will work with the gen 1

buy a new gen 2

but really...you probably can, they arent super complex boltheads. going through the hardended/dlc steel will be fun

i know guys that have done it with a 308 boltface to allow it to snap over on single fed cartridges
