Arc Nucleus shoulder prefit barrels

I just ordered a gen 2 brand new. What kind of luck has everyone had with shoulder prefits for these actions? Any problems?

Great luck and no problems. Go with a reputable smith/company or get go/no go as insurance.

And of course you can just order a Savage small shank barrel as well and use a nut.

PVA shouldered prefits are easy peasy.

PVA Shouldered 6.5 CM prefit on an early Nucleus is the most accurate rifle I own. Made a believer out of me.

I've had awesome luck with prefits on my Nucleus. I've had one from PVA and one for Straight Jacket Armory. Both were great shooters. BTW, I prefer shouldered prefit over savage small shank due to getting a larger diameter barrel with shouldered.

I have 3 good random mausingfield barrels screw on and headspace fine on my nuke, but I did also have issues with one barrel from PVa being slightly short chambered and they offered to fix it. So sometimes shit happens.
