Anyone know of an ARCA plate to suit an XLR hd fore end ? Looks like
I might have to run an XLR rail with the correct curve , then use an RRS
pic adaptor . Would prefer to mount direct to the fore end if possible .

Also looking to mount ARCA plates to a few Manners T4A's , what have you
gentlemen found to work best for you ? Many thanks .

I am using a RRS on the pic rail but would love to see a direct solution as well, ideally more toward balance point.

I added a hole to the underside of the hand guard that allowed me to move the rail 1 set of holes back. I trimmed off the last section or two of the pic rail so that it was flush with the main chassis body. This allowed me to move my adaptor back one section more toward the balance point.

I was having trouble bending the pic rails b/c the adaptor was mounted after the last hole. With the new setup it's between holes. The downside is that I gave up some length for by bipod.

I'll add some pics tomorrow.

For traditional stocks there is a thread about using T Nuts to attach. Seems like the way to go.
