I have an old Zeiss diascope that I would like to use with my new tripod. The tripod has a ball head with Arca mount. The plate that came with the tripod is not compatible. Can somebody give me a link to a good plate for the Zeiss? I’m searching the heck out of this and I’m guessing this might work.

SIRUI TY-70A Quick Release Plate with Video Pin Compatible with VA-5 Fluid Head - Black https://a.co/d/6LLCnPN

Mine looks like it will need the pin. I’m not sure if the larger threaded hole in the spotter is 3/8”

It looks like you are just missing the 3/8 to 1/4" adapter/reducer in your spotter. Here is a link to what I'm referring to.

You just need this and any arca plate will work. I have a few at my desk. I'd be happy to pop one in the mail to you if it will help you. Just email me your address if you want one. [email protected]
