Ready to join the Arca rail camp and set up with a rail style Bipod and also have the flexibility to run a plate style bag (Gray Ops) if / when needed. Upgrading from a pic rail style mounted no-name/nothing special Harris knockoff bipod.

Looking for recommendations on the combo and or suggestions on what works best for you and why you like it. This would be specifically for PRS stuff, but then second duty (bipod) on other rifles that I put a rail on for range tasks, general steel shooting, etc.)

I think I have the bipod narrowed down to either the Accu-Tac or an Atlas. They seem to be popular, and for good reason. I however don't know enough about either to say why I'd choose one over the other. I run Wiebad bags and an AG. I played once with a buddies rifle with the Gray Ops plate and was really impressed with the additional stability it offered. So I'd like the flexibility to quickly adapt to that for a stage, and or drop the bag/plate and run the bipod, or nothing, in a matter of a few seconds.

Appreciate any input on what works for you and suggestions in that regard. Gunporn always gets bonus points.

If a Mod could move this to the Equipment section, rather than PRS specific, I'd be most appreciative.

still searching for a question

buy a a419 arcalok rail
but get the atlas cal with 419 clamp
buy a gamer plate if you want
buy a bag that attaches to plate of choice

So I have a arca rail built into the chassis but for bag and other components I went with a grey ops mini plate pro, grey ops double arca mini plate tac table adapter, and a warhourse development butcher boy ment to be used in conjunction with the mini plate pro. I have not used the butcher boy but I have used the grey ops mini plate pro. It was great. I have used the warhourse development Comanche, and Saracen. I like them both. I think they worked very well. I think the butcher boy will be a great in-between sized bag.

I'm new to positional shooting so my experience is limited, but I'm using a railchanger-x plate with a shmedium gamechanger and like it a lot.

I’ll second the Area419 set up.

I have 3 of the 419 Arca clamps. to be honest, they seem a bit clunky. Do they hold? Yes, but the movements are a bit coarse. I've read the RRS clamps are much more smooth, and i believe they work on both arca and Picatany
