Are Savage 114 receivers different than 110 receivers

I was at a store today and there were 2 guns next to each other a stainless 114 and a blued 110. Both guns were brand new and the stainless bolt just seemed so much smoother to me.

Should be no difference unless one is a large shank wsm.

Looking at the pics on the website they both appear to be the same bottom bolt release receiver.
